NOTE ABOUT MILDEW: Allbäck linseed oil is purified to the highest possible level to prevent mildew; however, it is still possible to develop mildew or dirt on linseed oil paint - either from spores existing in the substrate or from dust, pollens, etc floating in the air that can settle on the painted surface and act as a food source for mould and mildew. Mildew flourishes with time, temperature nutrients, and moisture. Removing one component will make it much harder for mildew to flourish. Much of the dirt on painted surfaces today comes from industry and vehicles, and there is more carbon suspended in the air now than ever.
Never clean with chlorine or TSP as this will promote mildew tremendously over time. TSP is a fertilizer that is also used in cleaning. We do not use any dangerous chemicals to prevent growth. Instead, clean with the Linseed Soap. Preventing mildew by applying the linseed oil soap EXTRA solution on clean wood and on top of the linseed oil paint can prevent buildup.
Linseed oil paint will dry to a relatively soft surface that can easily move with the wood during seasonal changes over time and will not crack, peel, or cause wood to decay. Prevent mould and mildew growth on exterior paint by adding 10-20% of the Zinc White. Apply thin coats.

Linseed Paint with An Ancient History: Long-lasting, solvent-free Linseed oil paint has been used in Scandinavia since the 18th century. Penetrates and protects wood like no other modern paint does. Semi-gloss finish. We recommend rejuvenating linseed painted surfaces with a coat of linseed oil after 5-10 years.

NOTE: Mildew-free. No chemical driers or mildewcides. Actual Linseed Paint colors may vary.

Our linseed paint is made from Purified Organic Boiled Linseed Oil. This organic paint is 100% free of any solvent and can be thinned out with boiled linseed oil. The white paint contains Zinc Oxide and Titanium Dioxide. The colored paint contains Metal Oxide and Earth Pigment. You may apply this paint to any clean and dry surface including wood, concrete, corrugate steel/aluminum, plastic and old painted surfaces indoors and outdoors. For a high-gloss finish add Linseed Varnish.

Available Only in Select Stores: Swede Paint Enterprises is the sole distributor of Allback Organic Linseed Paints in Canada.
